Becoming a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist has required extensive education and rigorous training. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and completed my master's in Speech-Language Pathology at George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 2021. After successfully passing my Praxis board exam, I embarked on a 1260-hour clinical fellowship, which led to the achievement of my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's). My professional journey has been enriched by working with diverse age groups and disorders. I have gained valuable experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient, skilled nursing/rehabilitation, and within the school system.
My dedication to my clients is what drives me. I am deeply passionate about offering unwavering support and creating a positive impact in their lives.
During the challenging times of the pandemic, I honed my teletherapy skills, enabling me to provide innovative virtual therapy to individuals of all ages. I love creating engaging treatment activities for both in-person and virtual services.
My mission is to provide the highest quality of care by utilizing evidence-based methods, ensuring easy access to services, and fostering growth through a compassionate yet challenging approach.
During my free time, I love hanging out with family and friends! Trying new cuisines, getting lost in a good book, and walking my dogs are some of my favorite activities. You can always find me listening to music, indulging in movie marathons, and planning my next adventure!
Fun Fact: I have traveled to 11 different countries and am eager to add more to the list!
